The Junior Data Analyst role involves supporting clients in improving public access to clinical research information, performing data analyses, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions.
Support our client’s objectives to improve public access to information about clinical research, to promote public trust in research, and to inform future research
Analyzes and supports client business processes and workflows, performs gap analysis, and validates the information
Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and implement innovative approaches/solutions through research and data analysis to address key business and operation needs
Develops data and business analytics framework for the client’s future strategic initiatives to facilitate business decisions, including key indicators to ensure results are measurable and sustainable
Performs exploratory (ad hoc) data analyses, generates and tests working hypotheses, prepares and analyzes historical data and identifies patterns
Supports automation of the client’s clinical trial business process metrics visualization and reporting.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field and at least 2 years of experience in business requirements and data analytics supporting multidisciplinary projects OR Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field and demonstrated knowledge of business requirements and data analytics supporting multidisciplinary projects.
Demonstrated knowledge of data science methods such as machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP), SQL (Structured Query Language), and Python libraries for data science.
Collecting, interpreting, evaluating, and synthesizing large amounts of data to develop appropriate conclusions and recommendations.
Biomedical or clinical informatics as applied to clinical trials or real-world data.
Computer programming, including working with large datasets using Python Pandas.
Statistical analysis, including regression analysis and comparison of samples or populations.
Data visualization, employing Python libraries, such as Seaborn and Matplotlib, using Microsoft Excel, and/or creating/updating reports in Tableau or as HTML.
Computing proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.
