Western Alliance Bank is a financial institution that is part of AmeriHome Mortgage. The Marketing Analyst will support the Corporate Modeling & Analytics team by building and enhancing models and tools to optimize marketing strategies and campaigns through data-driven insights.
Design, develop, and maintain unified models to track and monitor Marketing performance, including website traffic, campaign conversion rates, paid search ads, paid social ads, direct mail and other digital marketing channels
Create and maintain quantitative processes including data mining, predictive modeling, and complex data processing to support data-driven insights and decision making
Develop and oversee marketing analytics tools and systems tools (e.g., Gurobi, Hubspot, GTM, Google Analytics, Salesforce) that enable data-driven decisions, aligning capital markets operations with broader business strategies to drive profitability and effectiveness
Assess competitive intelligence tools (i.e. Google Analytics, SemRush, Competiscan, Lashback) and assist in developing a quarterly competitive intelligence report
Partner with key stakeholders, including Marketing, Lock Desk, Bulk Trading Desk, Pipeline Hedging, and FP&A to ensure analytics solutions meet diverse marketing and operational needs
Communicate effectively using data and metrics to support time-sensitive decisions with clarity and precision
Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance scalability, accuracy, and efficiency across Marketing workflows
Qualification
Required
1+ years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred
Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services
Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
Intermediate to advanced experience with C#, SQL Server, Excel and Excel VBA, PowerBI
Intermediate to advanced experience with statistical analysis, including the use of tools like R or Python
Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
