Lockheed Martin is seeking a Production Operations Data Analyst Associate to support manufacturing teams, support functions, and leadership with data-driven insights. The role develops dashboards, analyzes and validates operational data, communicates findings to stakeholders, and supports performance improvement and decision-making.
Responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions
Using proven and sound statistical methods, the analyst draws insights from data, and translates those insights into action that drive business results
Data Analysts are extremely resourceful and able to find novel new data sources to enrich their analysis
They apply mathematical and statistical methods to business and risk management problems
Mine, process, and summarize data; Manage the quality assurance of data scraping, query databases for stakeholder requests, and triage data issues for timely resolutions; Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dashboards; Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities; Produce and track key performance indicators; Ability to formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems; Program management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule
Create and maintain interactive data analytics dashboards to measure and improve operations performance
Collect, analyze, and summarize data to communicate insightful information to key stakeholders
Work closely with leadership team, IT team, and other key stakeholders
Present thorough and detailed reports to identify areas of opportunity to drive future decision making
Perform data validation and maintain integrity of dashboards and databases
Maintain and optimize current Tableau dashboards
Complete Ad-hoc research request from senior leadership

Required
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience
Experience in Manufacturing, or Business Intelligence (BI) / Data Warehousing (DW) industry
Proficiency in SQL coding
Proficiency with Excel/MS Office Suite
Interest in machine learning or Natural Language Processing
Able to perform specialized data investigations to support analytics and custom reporting scenarios
Able to focus on results
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues on requirements
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Energetic and a self-starter
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance within 1 year, which requires U.S. citizenship
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analysis, Mathematics, or Business Analytics
Experience with SAP HANA
Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS preferred: EMR, Redshift, S3)
Experience with MS SharePoint
Experience with Grafana
Experience with VMware Tanzu / AWS Openshift
Proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Prep Builder
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification)
