Signet Jewelers is the world's largest retailer of diamond jewelry, operating more than 2,800 stores worldwide. The Strategic Insights Analyst will contribute to the creation and evolution of predictive and prescriptive analytics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership within Jewelry Services operations.
Partner with Jewelry Services leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, Supply Chain, IT) to align analytics efforts with the organization’s strategic vision and agile initiative
Conduct in-depth, exploratory data analysis to identify operational pain points, innovation opportunities, and behaviors that drive value across the network
Translate complex, large-scale data into clear, actionable insights and visualizations that drive efficiency and business decisions
Serve as a trusted advisor by collaborating with leaders to identify short- and long-term strategic opportunities supported by data-driven recommendations
Manage and prioritize an analytics portfolio for a specific business segment, working autonomously to deliver impactful insights aligned with leadership’s needs
Use tools such as SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, and visualization platforms to build compelling data narratives and presentations that drive action
Support organizational decision-making through predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analytics, incorporating both quantitative data and qualitative context
Engage in regular communication with stakeholders, sharing findings, roadmaps, and priorities to align on business objectives and ensure consistent execution
Promote a professional and inclusive environment by respecting diverse perspectives and encouraging team members to bring their full selves to work
Ensure high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and governance across all analytics work, aligning with best practices in modeling and business intelligence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field required
Minimum 2 years of experience in predictive and prescriptive analytics, including data processing, modeling, governance, transformation, and migration
At least 2 years of experience with Alteryx or similar automation tools; experience with moderate-to-complex data modeling
Strong understanding of databases and back-end data systems to ensure optimal data usage and integration
Advanced Excel and Tableau skills; experience with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Domo
Strong verbal and written presentation abilities are essential for conveying complex insights effectively
