Undergraduate Co-op Student – Business Analyst

They are seeking an Undergraduate Co-op Student to join their Operations team, where the individual will learn and utilize skills in business and data analytics to support the development of operational analytics and dashboard tools.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, organize, validate, and transform operational datasets for analysis and visualization
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and insights
  • Translate business questions into practical data outputs and clear visualizations
  • Document data sources, assumptions, dashboard logic, and user guidance to support long-term usability
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and operational tracking tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting needs and improve data accessibility

Qualification

Required

  • 18 years or older
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
  • Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
  • Enrolled in a full time Bachelor's degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred

  • Degree concentration(s) in Commerce, Business Analytics, Science and Business, or related discipline
  • Able to work for two consecutive four-month terms (8 months total)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and an interest in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI
  • Familiarity with Python or similar data analysis tools is an asset
  • Strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and business processes
  • Interest in life sciences, biotechnology, research operations, or science-based organizations
