Regeneron is hiring 2027 co-ops for its Research team, which applies machine learning and data analysis to early-stage drug discovery. Co-ops will develop computational models and tools, analyze large datasets, collaborate with researchers, and present findings.
Build models to predict how a genetic variant affects a protein
Develop computational tools for high-throughput image analysis
Harmonize metadata across large public and internal ribonucleic acid (RNA)-sequencing datasets
Apply machine learning and data analysis techniques to research questions
Work with large, complex datasets to identify meaningful patterns
Collaborate with researchers to translate data findings into actionable insights
Write and test code to support ongoing analyses
Present results to the broader research team
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree (and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position)
Preferred
Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
