Dell Technologies is hiring a Data Science Analyst to develop advanced analytics, machine learning models, and statistical methods for large, disparate datasets. The role works with business stakeholders and data engineers to deliver actionable insights, recommendations, and analytics tools aligned with business objectives.
Designs, develops and programs methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured data to generate actionable insights and solutions
Develops and codes software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources
Constructs predictive models, algorithms and probability engines; verifies model and algorithm effectiveness based on actual results
Interacts with business leaders and team members to understand business strategy, conditions and problem areas
Contributes to business strategy and influences decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis
Produces actionable & compelling recommendations by interpreting, exploring, identifying and communicating insights discovered from complex data sets
Partners with both internal & external sources to gather and examine data from disparate sources with the goal of discovering previously hidden insights
Develop and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data science solutions
Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across projects
Drive continuous improvement through experimentation and innovation
Qualification
Required
Understanding of Python programming and other relevant languages (R, Java, SQL, DAX)
Understanding of PowerAutomate or equivalent automation applications
Ability to use standard Data Visualization tools (PowerBI)
Technical knowledge of machine learning and best practices
Computer Science or similar degree
Business case management and Business Analysis expertise
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build long lasting relationships with key stakeholders
1+ years of related experience in a professional role or equivalent experience
Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization
Proficiency in Python/R and experience with big data platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field a plus
Certifications in AI/ML or cloud data platforms
