DaVita Kidney Care supports integrated kidney care and renal population health management through clinical analytics and reporting. The Analytics and Reporting Analyst will support the CHE program by producing monthly reports, extracting and analyzing data, maintaining data integrity, and collaborating with clinical and operational teams to answer key healthcare questions.
Strategic & Business Impact: Execute assigned tasks and track performance of key CHE metrics. Support basic analytics needs
Technical Execution & Analysis: Utilize SQL for data extraction and querying data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, GCP BigQuery) to support reporting products. Build basic summarized views and operational reports in Excel and Tableau
Project Leadership & Management: Own the monthly production and distribution of ad hoc and standard CHE reporting
Data Integrity & QA: Conduct basic Quality Assurance (QA) on your own reporting and data pulls to ensure accuracy in metrics
Communication & Partnership: Communicate effectively within immediate working groups. Collaborate with clinical subject matter experts, IKC Operations, and the Model of Care (MoC) team to identify key clinical questions that can be answered using data
Team Development & Mentorship: Focus on personal growth and continuously learn new technical skills, data systems, and healthcare analytics concepts on the fly
Qualification
Required
1-2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field
Minimum 1+ years of experience using SQL for basic data extraction and querying
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, GCP BigQuery)
Strong critical thinking skills, work ethic, and attention to detail
Adept communication skills to synthesize insights for non-technical stakeholders
Ability to lift a minimum of 2 pounds to a maximum of 15 pounds unassisted; ability to sit for extended periods of time with some standing, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, lifting; moderate range of body motions
Ability to use a computer and all peripherals for extended periods of time
Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to perform successfully the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position
