Responsibilities

  • Support a growing portfolio of programs and IRADs that focus on missile defense and hypersonic technologies
  • Supporting the analysis of raw missile defense simulation outputs
  • Focus on supporting the analysis of system model performance

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 0 years of related experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 0 years of related experience
  • Academic experience in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Knowledge of machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
  • Proficiency with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git, SVN, Mercurial)
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Comprehensive experience with the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM)
  • Proven track record utilizing agile development methodologies
  • Experience with database management systems, particularly MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite
  • Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
