They are seeking an Associate Data Scientist to contribute to the architecture, design, and development of the Data & Analytics Platform, collaborating with various teams to deliver data and analytics solutions.
Perform routine tasks competently and independently and generate reliable and consistent results
Learn and understand various data engineering activities, including data warehousing, master data management, data cataloging, system integration, data streaming, data visualization, data analysis, and data ops
Learn and understand pharmaceutical R&D/Life Science centric datasets
Learn and contribute to the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data & analytics platforms, system integrations, data pipelines, data models & API integrations to support evolving business strategy
Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education, with typically 2 or more years' experience or Master's Degree or equivalent education (no additional experience)
Must have experience with software development life cycle
Experience with data analysis programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python & Apache Spark, SAS & R)
Preferred
Experience working with Pharmaceutical R&D industry-centric datasets
Knowledge and practical experience in Knowledge graph, Elastic search, data streaming and LLM models
