Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and prepare bank's deposit and loan portfolio and reconcile the data in the database against the general ledger
  • Ability to work with large financial datasets and translate business requests into actionable analytical solutions
  • Validate general ledger data against source systems and reconcile metrics ensure consistency
  • Responsible for managing and reviewing data quality metrics of the portfolio data in the data warehouse
  • Support in the preparation of bank’s regulatory and other financial reports
  • Create reports and analytical solutions for business stakeholders
  • Document report definitions, calculation logic, and data lineage for transparency and auditability

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 1+ years of related experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field
  • Entry level knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Entry level to intermediate experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Entry level to intermediate experience presenting findings from large datasets in a clear, actionable way
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel including Lookups, PivotTables, and advanced formulas
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with financial reporting or regulatory reporting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions

Preferred

  • Previous working knowledge of general ledger and journal entries processes preferred
