They are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Analyst to join their Business Intelligence & Data Insights team, responsible for extracting and validating data, conducting in-depth analysis, and building dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

Perform data extractions and data pulls from various sources using Alteryx and SQL for reporting and analysis
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
Conduct data quality assurance, including identifying, investigating, and resolving data anomalies, inconsistencies, or errors
Collaborate with business units, finance, audit, and IT to understand data needs and provide actionable insights
Clean, transform, and prepare large data sets to support business analysis, decision-making, and reporting requirements
Assist with the automation of repetitive data processes and workflows using Alteryx
Document data sources, data flows, and analytical methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatability
Present analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, understandable terms
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to data analysis and business intelligence

Qualification

Required

College Degree or equivalent required
1 year related experience
Proficient use of applicable technology
Ability to follow technical instructions and guidelines
Ability to document daily activities and system functions
Able to work in team environment
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization both internally and externally
Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of professional experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role, preferably in a large or publicly traded organization
Proficiency in Alteryx for data extraction, transformation, and workflow automation
Advanced SQL skills for querying, joining, and manipulating large datasets
Demonstrated experience building visualizations and dashboards in Power BI
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Experience with other BI or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SmartSheet) is a plus
Knowledge of the accounting and professional services industry is a plus
