Responsibilities

  • Heavy emphasis on advanced coding and ability to create predictive and statistical models from the ground up
  • Incorporates the use of algorithms into analytics and modeling
  • Has knowledge of data and business acumen
  • Utilizes machine learning and experimental design techniques
  • Builds credit risk and pricing predictive and prescriptive analytical tools in support of data driven business decisions
  • Applies optimization algorithms to identify opportunities for achieving specific business objectives, such as minimizing risks and maximizing profitability
  • Streamlines data usage and interfaces information dashboards to create consistency and efficiencies across business processes
  • Learns how to apply best practices and to filter data into meaningful information

Qualification

Required

  • 1 year of analytics experience required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Application knowledge of Snowflake SQL, Python, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Ability to organize and explore large data sets to identify trends/insights as well as translate results into business recommendations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate with team members on assignments

Preferred

  • Some experience with credit risk analytics and pricing optimization
  • Exposure to logistic regression, decision trees, survival analysis, mathematical programs
