SAIC is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Scientist Associate for a future program at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The Data Scientist will transform raw data into meaningful insights, support data-driven decision-making, and refine engineering solutions to enhance operational effectiveness for the U.S. Navy.

Works with complex data from various sources is gathered, analyzed, and interpreted to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Uses advanced analytical tools and software are utilized to create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations that clearly convey key metrics and performance indicators.
Works in close collaboration with stakeholders across departments is conducted to understand data needs, provide actionable recommendations, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of professional related experience, or additional years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
Knowledge in data analysis, data warehousing, and data visualization.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI required.
Analytical skills and experience in statistical analysis, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes necessary.
Ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills vital for presenting findings to stakeholders.
Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Experience with cloud computing platforms.
Familiarity with DoD regulations and standards, particularly DoD Manual 8570/8140.
