As a data scientist at Booz Allen, you can help turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges
You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle
You’ll work with and learn from your teammates as you develop algorithms and systems
You’ll use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers so that your clients can make informed decisions
Ultimately, you’ll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used
Ability to perform data-driven analysis to support financial, operational, or strategic decision-making
Ability to build, validate, and present analytical insights to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams
Ability to identify process inefficiencies and use data to recommend solutions, optimize workflows, or improve business performance
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, timelines, and data deliverables in fast-paced environments

Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Experience in project management frameworks such as Agile and PMO practices, supporting data, or analytics initiatives
Experience conducting data-driven projects for process improvement and performance analysis
Experience in analytics methodologies for benchmarking, market analysis, and identifying operational inefficiencies
Ability to manage activities and tasks from start to finish
Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and communicate with multiple functional groups
Ability to display a positive, can-do attitude to solve challenges
Possession of strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Master's degree
