The Data Scientist will develop advanced analytics solutions, leveraging machine learning models, and extracting actionable insights from complex datasets to optimize operations and support commercial decision-making.
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive operational efficiency, product innovation, and business growth
Design, develop, and deploy scalable predictive models and machine learning algorithms to optimize processes
Maintain and refine models to improve accuracy and relevance to business
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data analytics, business processes, and tools/systematic solutions
Identify opportunities for process & system improvements and automations
Engage in regular discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and present findings
Collaborate on projects to address business challenges and opportunities
Provide training and support to stakeholders/team members on tools, dashboards, report, and systems
Share best practices, tips, and insights through workshops, documentation, and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualification
Required
Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics, agribusiness, mathematics, finance, or related field required.
Minimum 2-year experience in a data scientist position or 3-5 years in analyst position, with evidence of analytical contribution, preferably agribusiness or business systems background.
