Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm innovative approaches to utilize Visa’s unique data assets to address business challenges
  • Engage with clients to understand their specific problems and articulate how data-driven solutions can meet their needs
  • Design, build, and experiment with machine learning and generative AI models using various statistical and computational techniques
  • Apply AI-enabled tools to streamline data exploration, model development, and deployment processes
  • Extract meaningful insights from data to inform strategic decision-making and client recommendations
  • Create compelling visualizations to communicate complex analyses to diverse audiences
  • Identify opportunities to develop scalable products and solutions based on analytical findings for multiple clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage Visa data for driving business innovations and improvements
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to optimize product offerings, marketing strategies, and business operations
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data collection techniques
  • Develop custom algorithms and models to enhance predictive analytics and business outcomes
  • Implement processes and tools to monitor model performance and ensure data quality and accuracy

Qualification

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, with a Bachelor's Degree in statistics, computer science, economics, or related fields; a Master's degree or higher is preferred
  • At least 3 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years with an advanced degree
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience extracting and aggregating data from large datasets
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience developing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models
  • Knowledge of statistical software including Python, R, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into understandable recommendations

Preferred

  • Experience in financial services, credit card analytics, or merchant data analysis is a plus but not mandatory
