FIS is a global leader in financial services technology, and they are seeking a Data Scientist I as part of their University Program. This role involves monitoring and examining data quality, collaborating with various teams to resolve data issues, and participating in product development to enhance data usage.
You will be analysing data within ChexSystems and making recommendations on where processes and procedures could be improved
Explore both new and legacy technologies and tools to identify data anomalies, trends in existing data, and to validate new data sources
You will become an expert in data and systems to assist product teams design and execute on new product initiatives
You will work closely with multiple teams leveraging and learning skills to propel the business forward and achieve objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent in English; Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Preferred
Experience on both Mainframe and Unix/Linux systems
Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBI
