Entergy is a provider of essential services, and they are seeking an IT Operational Governance & Execution Analyst to join their IT department. This role involves supporting various services related to IT Configuration Management, Application Mapping, and Change Management while maintaining the configuration management database.
Support CI owner groups, ensuring CI lifecycle management processes align with best practices
Support and provide analysis for Configuration Item Owners performing including commissioning & decommissioning, data quality certifications, change management, vulnerability management
Drive customer centricity by soliciting and responding to feedback to improve overall experience with CMDB
Support Discovery Lead in the development, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of discovery patterns and pre/postscripts
Provide analysis for non-ServiceNow Discovered CIs maintained by supporting tools like Scalable, Bigfix, etc
Identify and remediate CIs brought into the CMDB using non-compliant methods
Implement data-driven policies to improve CMDB health
Develop forms, dashboards and workflows that drive successful outcomes for CMDB stakeholders
Use proactive data mining to identify and remediate process gaps
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent Work Experience Required
2 Years Of Relevant Experience Required
2+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITIL, CMDB, Service Catalogs, ITSM
Strong communication skills to work with individuals and teams both technical and business oriented
Ability to understand processes end to end
Understanding of agile
Preferred
IT Change Management experience
ServiceNow Discovery experience
ServiceNow CMDB experience
Experience working with ITIL methodologies
Continuous Improvement methodologies or certifications
