The company is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support Federal clients by collecting and analyzing data, developing visualizations and decision-support tools, and contributing to applications built with Palantir Foundry and React.
Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
Support the development and maintenance of databases, data models, and repeatable data workflows
Apply statistical and analytical techniques to explore data and help answer client questions
Develop visualizations, reports, and dashboards that communicate findings and support decision-making
Contribute to software development using the Palantir SDK and React, including building and improving Workshop applications
Collaborate with team members to implement front-end and back-end solutions that meet project needs
Translate business and operational requirements into clear analytical or technical tasks
Present findings and explain analytical results to technical and nontechnical audiences
Develop your skills in data science, software development, business process engineering, and system integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
Up to two years of experience in data science, analytics, or software development
Foundational programming skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar language
Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to work
Interest in learning new technical skills and applying them in a fast-paced environment
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Common Access Card and obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
U.S. citizenship is required for this government-facing role

Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including its SDK or Workshop
Experience with React, Angular, or another front-end framework
Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Experience with data visualization, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling
Interest in business process engineering, system integration, or decision-support applications
