Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze material-related data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to monitor material performance metrics (inventory levels, usage rates, cost efficiency, etc.)
  • Perform trend analysis and forecasting on material consumption, inventory requirements, and costs to support procurement and production planning
  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in material management and provide data-backed solutions to streamline operations
  • Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure accurate material demand planning and inventory optimization
  • Monitor and analyze material cost fluctuations and their impact on overall operations and profitability
  • Support supplier performance evaluations by analyzing delivery timelines, quality metrics, and cost efficiency
  • Ensure data integrity by maintaining accurate records in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and conducting regular audits
  • Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
  • Publish daily material and reports
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in material analysis and data management

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Materials Science, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in materials management or supply chain
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to present findings and collaborate with stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience in materials planning or procurement analysis
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for advanced data analysis
