Adelphi Values is a health outcomes consultancy supporting pharmaceutical companies through patient-centered outcomes research. The Research Associate will contribute to studies involving the selection, development, and psychometric validation of Clinical Outcome Assessments, while conducting research activities, analyzing data, and preparing reports and publications.
You will be involved in studies focused on the selection, development and psychometric validation of COAs
You will be involved in a range of research activities including conducting literature reviews, developing study protocols and statistical analysis plans, preparing study documentation for ethical review, the recruitment and interviewing of study participants, data analysis, the reporting of study findings, and writing conference abstracts/posters, and journal manuscripts
You will be involved in multiple projects at any one time, so good communication and organisational skills are essential
As part of our international team you will work closely with colleagues based in the UK and/or US
Qualification
Required
You will have an undergraduate/postgraduate degree (BSc, MSc, or similar) in health psychology, psychology, psychological research methods, sociology, or life sciences
You should ideally have knowledge and experience of literature review methodology, qualitative/quantitative analysis, and research design including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination
Fluency in Microsoft Office packages, organisational skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail is essential, along with a teamwork ethos and an appetite for working in a fast-paced, fun environment
You must have eligibility to work in the UK

Therefore, it is required that you are within a manageable frequent commuting distance of Bollington
Periodic travel may be required
Preferred
Work experience in a related research or health setting is desirable but not essential
Experience of questionnaire development is desirable but not essential
