Michelin is a globally respected employer with a rich history in synthetic rubber manufacturing. They are seeking a Site Data Manager to lead data initiatives, implement data governance, and advance digital capabilities at their Louisville, KY plant.
Implement and manage the Factory Data Lake in alignment with central specifications.
Ensure data accessibility and act as the single point of contact for plant-produced data.
Apply and monitor data governance rules, detect and correct data quality issues, and lead root cause analysis and action planning.
Co-animate the network of data administrators and contribute to digital product deployment.
Support and develop data analysts within the plant.
Identify business issues and relevant data sources.
Collect, validate, and analyze data—structured or unstructured—with support from Data Scientists.
Present insights and recommendations using data visualization tools.
Promote best practices in data security, quality, and confidentiality.
Qualification
Required
Advanced knowledge in Digital, IS/IT, and data management.
Experience with data governance, quality control, and analytics.
Familiarity with tools like PI Osisoft System and BI platforms.
Strong communication skills to collaborate across networks and present findings to decision-makers.
Commitment to applying group standards and fostering a culture of data excellence.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and process/product relationship knowledge.
B.S. degree in scientific field and a minimum of two years' experience (internships / co-op experience acceptable).
