Supply Chain Analytics - Data Scientist

Responsibilities

  • Drive data quality improvements in commodity specific demand forecasts
  • Troubleshoot and confirm Supplier forecast accuracy inquiries for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collect, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple business systems
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify root causes and corrective actions that will avoid future production downtime and expedite costs
  • Build dashboards, visualizations, and automate current reports using Microsoft PowerApps, Co-Pilot AI, and PowerBI
  • Monitor KPI performance to identify process gaps impacting both customer satisfaction and on time delivery performance
  • Recommend and support implementation of process improvements that enhance delivery reliability and responsiveness for top customer accounts
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Support digital transformation and analytics initiatives across the Production and Logistics organization
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Finance teams to improve processes through data-driven decision making and problem solving

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field and no experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field and no experience and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

  • Able to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Strong in Excel and able to work with complex spreadsheets
  • Commercial vehicle technical experience a plus
  • Must be able to get results through influence
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experienced with PowerBI
