ITT Inc. is a diversified global leading manufacturer of highly engineered critical components and customized technology solutions. They are seeking a motivated and analytical co-op student to support their Global Trade Compliance team by analyzing trade and compliance data, developing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Analyze and interpret trade compliance and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools to support business decision-making
Support data collection, validation, and cleansing activities to improve data accuracy and integrity
Assist with import/export compliance processes, documentation, audits, and recordkeeping activities
Conduct research and data analysis to support trade compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and IT teams on cross-functional projects
Document business processes and support the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, automation, and reporting capabilities
Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses that support the Global Trade Compliance organization
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, International Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
Strong business acumen with exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred
Advanced Power BI and SAP skills strongly preferred, including data modeling, dashboard development, report creation, and data visualization
Experience with Power Query, SQL, or other analytics tools is a plus
