As an Associate Software Engineer in Cloud Infrastructure, you will develop software that enhances engineering processes, enabling teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently while ensuring code health and best practices.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including access to classified information.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Active or the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred
Master’s degree or PhD in a technical field.
Experience delivering mission solutions to the Department of Defense and other US agencies.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
Knowledge of government compliance frameworks, such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53 and others.
Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills.
