The Content Designer role involves partnering with strategic leaders to create engaging visuals that effectively communicate complex information and elevate the brand's messaging.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate objectives and complex (at times technical) content into visually compelling designs for executive presentations, analyst roundtables, thought leadership pieces, infographics, and more.
Design high-impact, executive-level presentations (e.g. Google Slides) that are visually sophisticated, clearly articulate key messages, and adhere to Google brand guidelines.
Conceptualize and design original visual elements, including logos, illustrations, iconography, and diagrams, to enhance understanding and visual appeal.
Maintain and evolve Google Cloud brand guidelines across all design deliverables, ensuring consistency and a premium visual experience.
Manage multiple concurrent projects, meet deadlines, communicate progress, stay updated on design trends, and maintain visual asset libraries/templates.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in graphic design, including experience within a B2B technology environment.
Experience with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Google Workspace tools.
Preferred
5 years of experience in graphic design, including experience within a B2B technology environment.
Experience applying brand guidelines and data visualization principles.
Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, and web design best practices, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including marketing materials, presentations, illustrations, and iconography.
Ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging visuals.
Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
