Google is a leading technology company empowering customers with advanced capabilities and insights through AI and Infrastructure. As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will support hardware board and power designers in the validation and qualification of server-related technologies, ensuring lab readiness for new products.
Define, execute and document electrical characterization, validation and qualification of on-board system-level power distribution network, covering from the power converter design to ASIC power integrity validation
Support design engineers with debug, component validation, and failure analysis of released products. Work with minimal guidance to troubleshoot and root cause electrical component level defects and design issues
Develop test procedures for general qualification and testing of DUTs using automated/scripted tests as part of a larger automation suite
Collect and analyze aggregated data to enable data driven engineering decisions, report on findings, reduce test data, and investigate test outcomes thoroughly down to a hardware interface or component level
Work with hardware designers and other diagnostics development teams to understand new project architectures and system components, as well as to implement support required for test and debug efforts
