Google is looking for a Legal Policy Specialist for YouTube, dedicated to ensuring a safe and creative environment for users and creators. The role involves addressing policy issues, improving operational processes, and contributing to community engagement efforts.
Process removal requests efficiently and accurately, including privacy issues, defamation issues, court orders, law enforcement requests and requests from government agencies
Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding YouTube's legal removals processes
Work within a team to identify and improve processes, operational quality and scalability
Assist in developing internal and external educational materials, and in designing new workflows to support the strategic directions of the business
Review graphic, controversial and sometimes offensive video content
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in content moderation, law, policy, operations, or related fields
Preferred
Experience working with internet technologies and related policy and regulatory environments
Experience in content moderation
Experience in support operations
Experience with SQL and spreadsheets
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment
