As a Networking Test Engineer, you will ensure that Google's massive and growing network operates at peak potential by designing and executing test plans, developing automation tools, and certifying software releases.
Design, develop and execute test plans for networking features.
Design and deploy suitable testbeds for testing Networking software infrastructure.
Develop test automation tools and Automation testing.
Certify software releases for general use.
Generate ideas to solve open-ended problems with multiple approaches to reach an optimal solution.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with network equipment and network protocols testing and debugging.
Experience in test automation using Python or C++.
Experience with test methodologies, writing test plans and creating test cases.
Preferred
Experience working with and testing multiple networking protocols, as well as troubleshooting automation.
Experience architecting and developing test infrastructure to support network solutions.
