As a Program Manager in Environmental, Health and Safety, you will lead complex projects to ensure safety and compliance in Google Cloud's logistics supply chain, collaborating with stakeholders and managing EHS programs effectively.
Manage EHS programs in Google’s Warehousing/Logistics/Automation spaces to ensure a safe and compliant workplace and with improvement. Monitor and track program performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans.
Partner with Google Cloud Logistics (GCL) Vendors to drive safety improvements and ensure their EHS performance meets the required standards and meet with stakeholders to communicate on performance and requirements.
Coordinate and Participate in Assurance Activities like managing the compliance program and audit vendors for compliance to legal and Google EHS requirements.
Participate in engineering and innovation solutions to reduce risk in the GCL operations.
Review incident investigations submitted by vendors and communicate learning or corrective and preventive actions across the business to prevent recurrence.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in program management.
Experience with environmental health and safety regulations.
Experience with incident response and management.
Experience with vendor management.
Experience with risk assessment.
Preferred
Certification or credentials from Board of Certified Safety Professionals or equivalent.
Experience in warehousing, transportation or other related logistics industry.
Ability to coach, influence and advise leadership and vendor stakeholders to achieve EHS outcomes.
