Google is seeking a Program Manager I to support its Search team, which develops infrastructure and experiences that help people find information globally. The role coordinates big data and analytics programs, manages communications and documentation, tracks progress and risks, and partners with engineering and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute work.
Coordinate and deliver program communications in close collaboration with program stakeholders, including metrics progress, meeting notes, meeting AIs, decision/escalation logs, newsletters, and websites
Collect data relating to program progress from program stakeholders
Author program charter that addresses scope and timeline of basic program, specify program OKRs, and explain resource requirements/dependencies, in close collaboration with program stakeholders
Author stakeholder map that specifies who is impacted by, and who influences, program outcome in close collaboration with program stakeholders
Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for purposes of prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
1 year of experience in program or project management
Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows
Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms
Preferred
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical stakeholders, such as engineering or data science teams
Knowledge of data analysis or data science pipelines, demonstrating the technical understanding necessary to work closely with engineers
