As a Program Manager in the Regulatory PMO, you will coordinate Google's responses to inquiries and investigations from government and regulatory agencies worldwide, collaborating with various teams across the company.
Partner with legal counsel, product teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive tasks, share information, and implement litigation, investigations and regulatory requests, including intake, assessment of tasks, tracking deadlines to aid in the investigation and execution of regulatory response, cross-functional stakeholder management, day-to-day operational support (including discovery data/document support), and final submission approvals.
Identify opportunities for process improvement initiatives and knowledge management projects, and help develop and socialize best practices
Identify issues and fielding escalations to stakeholders, and assist with providing internal recommendations.
Facilitate global cross-functional working groups and influence a broad range of stakeholders including executives.
Support critical decision making while managing timelines.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program or project management.
Experience in regulatory affairs, such as government inquiries or litigation type matters.
Preferred
Ability to anticipate issues and solve problems.
Ability to make connections across teams and issues.
Ability to work with ambiguity, and manage and prioritize multiple timelines and projects in an ambiguous environment.
Ability to manage matters/cases and multiple stakeholders under deadlines (e.g., trial, hearing preparation, etc.).
