Google is a company that builds products to create opportunities for everyone. As a Program Manager on the Research Conference Outreach team, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects, manage conference programming, and foster connections within the academic community.
Support on-the-ground execution of conference programming, including staffing the booth, running Google-hosted events, etc. which will require traveling domestically and internationally
Develop program content, including sourcing technical demos, speakers, and securing volunteers
Manage legal processes such as contract negotiation, drafting Statement of Work (SOW’s), and regular alignment with Google’s Office of Compliance and Integrity
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of GR’s conference-related branding elements and the creation of physical and digital conference assets
Track program metrics, including the collection and reporting of program feedback, impact metrics, etc
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in program or project management
Experience with event related A/V production
Experience with research, academia, trade shows, or research conferences
Ability to travel up to 20% of the year internationally, including holidays and weekends as needed
Preferred
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
