Responsibilities

  • Support on-the-ground execution of conference programming, including staffing the booth, running Google-hosted events, etc. which will require traveling domestically and internationally
  • Develop program content, including sourcing technical demos, speakers, and securing volunteers
  • Manage legal processes such as contract negotiation, drafting Statement of Work (SOW’s), and regular alignment with Google’s Office of Compliance and Integrity
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of GR’s conference-related branding elements and the creation of physical and digital conference assets
  • Track program metrics, including the collection and reporting of program feedback, impact metrics, etc

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience with event related A/V production
  • Experience with research, academia, trade shows, or research conferences
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the year internationally, including holidays and weekends as needed

Preferred

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
