Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine demand forecasts for NPI programs from pre-GA ramp through to the sustaining phase
  • Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models, processes and software tools) in creating supply forecasts and respective inventory targets
  • Present supply and demand recommendations to leadership, drive timely decisions, and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders in the supply chain
  • Coordinate with senior level and Non Rack NPI part planners to conduct thorough feasibility analysis of demand ramps against supply chain capabilities, highlighting risks and constraints early
  • Drive necessary mitigation actions (including escalations) and prioritization, allocation decisions with procurement, and other teams to minimize impact to Google's capacity delivery

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience with supply or demand planning (e.g., demand forecasting, inventory management, resource allocation, etc.)
  • Experience with network infrastructure or data centers

Preferred

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
  • Experience in managing technical programs with hardware teams
  • Experience with supply/demand planning, material planning, data center infrastructure, or capital investment decision making
  • Excellent analytical skills, with high attention to detail
  • Firm sense of accountability and ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle
