As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating with stakeholders to manage project schedules, identify risks, and ensure successful production transitions for new products.
Lead large, complex, cross-functional Program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions
Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals
Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/Bill of Material (BOM)/capacity readiness and transition plans)
Guide cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in program or project management
Experience in building and qualifying New Product Introduction (NPI) process stages with engineering teams
Experience working in hardware or contract manufacturing for supply chain operations
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Operations or other relevant fields
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience working with hardware programs (e.g., PCBA) or networking products (e.g., NICs, switches, optics, racks)
Experience working on technical products
Ability to lead operational and strategic initiatives
