Google is a leading technology company that builds products to create opportunities for everyone. As a Program Manager, you will lead complex projects focused on sourcing and supply chain management for data center equipment, ensuring readiness and optimizing processes across multiple stakeholders.
Create and implement new processes centered around: sourcing, procurement, PO fulfillment, and supplier engagement
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mechanical commodities that align with the organization's technical requirements and business objectives
Lead the supplier selection and operational reviews. Negotiate and manage master supply agreements, statements of work, and other critical commercial contracts to secure supply and manage costs
Drive supplier relationship management by conducting regular operational and business reviews with key partners to monitor performance, address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement
Manage the life cycle of products and components, working with suppliers to navigate changes, updates, and end-of-life transitions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in program or project management
Experience in sourcing, including commercial negotiations and supplier management
Experience working with electrical and mechanical commodities in the data center industry
Preferred
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience working with sourcing from manufacturers for industrial scale infrastructure products (e.g., power generation, cooling, mechanical infrastructure), engaging on pricing, contracts, and PO fulfillment
Ability to own undefined asks and create strategies that can then be scaled and executed to drive results, with experience delivering products
Ability to customize communications based on the audience
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
