Responsibilities

Design RF hardware solutions for Pixel phones.
Design for volume manufacturing and support factory engineers from prototyping to product launch.
Be responsible for PCB design for optimal RF performance.
Work with component vendors and partners to develop the RF front end. Travel internationally up to 10% of the time as needed.
Support certification and compliance issues.

Qualification

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience designing RF solutions for consumer electronics, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience in RF design, board-level and firmware debug, schematic creation, and PCB design.
Experience with simulation tools or circuit simulation capability (i.e., ADS, HFSS).
Experience using RF equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and communication test boxes.

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Experience with conducted and radiated measurements at RF frequencies.
Knowledge of wireless communication systems, such as 5G nR, LTE, etc.
Knowledge of Python or other programming/scripting languages.
Excellent board-level and firmware debug skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
