Responsibilities

Build Google Store checkout for both in-person retail and online stores.
Scaling Google Store infrastructure to support spikes in QPS during launch events.
Engineer infrastructure to support e-commerce checkout, cart, purchase flow, and inventory management.
Anticipate future needs and build flexible systems to solve those problems.

Qualification

Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in Java, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred

Experience with distributed or parallel algorithms.
Experience with database design.
Experience with e-commerce and payment processing.
