They are seeking a Software Engineer III for the Pixel Camera team to design, develop, and improve camera system software while collaborating with peers to enhance product quality and performance.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve camera system software that implements a robust and performant programmable camera pipeline.
Write product or system development code.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in C++ programming.
Experience in embedded systems development.
Experience working with cameras or imaging.
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
Knowledge of embedded systems development, Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) concepts, device drivers and hardware/software integration.
