As a Software Engineer III on the Play App Content team, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions critical to Google’s needs, while managing project priorities and deliverables.
Design and maintain the scalable App Content platform that serves as the ingestion engine for multiple Google surfaces
Build a personalized on-device catalog that extends Google's reach with real-time app data, allowing AI agents to analyze context and draw actionable insights
Serve the content catalog to power seamless user journeys initiated by AI agents, transforming how users interact with the Android app ecosystem
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience with software development in Java
2 years of experience with SQL
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
