Responsibilities

Write product or system development code.
Collaborate cross functionally to design, build and deploy exciting new product features in the Photos Android App
Work with other engineers to continuously improve our software components and architecture
Help ensure continued users’ trust in Google Photos
Identify, triage, debug, track and resolve issues in existing code

Qualification

Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience Android application development.

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
2 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
Experience working with photos/videos, image & video manipulation, and/or OpenGL ES.
Experience building user interfaces in Android applications (Jetpack Compose UI).
Experience building Android applications.
