Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a Software Engineer for Google Cloud. In this role, you will develop technologies that enhance how users connect and interact with information, focusing on scalable storage solutions and distributed systems.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
Design and implement new features in Kubernetes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting
2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
Experience in backend software development
Experience coding in one of the following: Golang, C++, Java, or Python
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
Experience working with storage, data protection, or disaster recovery
Experience with Cloud platforms
Experience with Kubernetes
