Google is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager for YouTube to manage a portfolio of creators critical to business objectives. The role involves driving product adoption, optimizing creator success, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance relationships with key partners.
Manage a scaled portfolio of YouTube partners toward strategic goals, including established scaled strategic relationships with partners through different engagement types
Drive product adoption, optimization across YouTube priorities and support creators in their content, business generation and viewership goals
Ensure your partner portfolio complies with YouTube’s community guidelines and business generation policies and support them in navigating YouTube’s support and operations teams
Engage with and understand the latest features, policies, and platform improvements to help partners succeed
Manage project initiatives to grow emerging creators, including workshops, events and other scaled initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in partnerships, working with creators
Experience in the video, media, or entertainment industry, including experience as a YouTube creator or working with partners or creators
Experience in an external-facing customer interaction role within customer support, sales, or relationship development
Preferred
Experience in project management using project execution frameworks
Ability to interact comfortably with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, as well as influencing cross-functionally
Ability to analyze data and insights and translate in an external-friendly, actionable way
Objection handling, managing sensitive communication, and agreement negotiation
Effective problem-solving skills and proven track record of proactively improving processes
Excellent communication, presentation, planning and time/pipeline management skills, with strong attention to detail
