Google is a leading technology company that is rapidly growing its Google Cloud Platform. As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex projects, working with stakeholders to plan requirements and manage project schedules, ensuring a collaborative capacity experience for GCP customers.
Partner with Product Managers and TpMs to align Capacity plans with Product roadmaps. Collaborate to develop and own the comprehensive capacity plans for new products across the entire product lifecycle (EVT, DVT, PVT, Preview and Post GA)
Analyze customer signals, and historical data to refine capacity projections and proactively identify potential risks or opportunities
Develop and maintain detailed supply plans through a 18 month horizon to ensure the availability of components and finished goods to meet forecasted demand
Monitor and manage supply chain risks. Drive mitigation strategy and prioritization during allocation/constraints
Improve planning processes and tools to enhance availability and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
1 year of experience in program management
Experience in supply planning, demand planning or capacity planning
Experience in SQL and data modeling
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Capacity Planning or other relevant field
Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience in data modeling, trend analysis, forecasting, or business insights
Experience with data center hardware technology and data center capacity planning and budgeting
Demonstrated operational and leadership experience across automation and process initiatives. Track record of change management success across capacity planning, resource management and delivery, new product introduction, supply chain management, and/or infrastructure deployment
Experience running large programs and managing cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
