Google is a leading technology company that builds products to create opportunities for everyone. As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex projects focused on environmental compliance and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure all environmental issues are addressed.
Identify and evaluate environmental risks for impact to the business, starting from due diligence through campus planning and design phases. Analyze risk scenarios to determine their potential impact to the business and lead programs to mitigate those risks
Review due diligence assessments to ensure alignment with GDC strategy and schedule, including analyzing environmental business risks and identifying efficiencies with a focus on soil and groundwater remediation, water and wastewater usage, air emissions compliance, and environmental risk assessment
Lead environmental permitting, investigations, and assessments to support compliance with local and national regulations
Contribute to regional/global tracking of milestones and deliverables for environmental and regulatory compliance
Manage portfolio of EHS initiatives and programs and manage contractors and internal stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
1 year of experience in program management
Experience with environmental compliance and permitting processes in the United States
Experience managing environmental projects (soil and groundwater remediation, air emissions, etc)
Preferred
Experience communicating with state, regional, and national authorities regarding environmental issues
Knowledge of data center operations, facilities management, engineering and construction
Ability to be an influential member of an integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
Ability to take environmental research or field data and summarize it into clear, actionable insights using tools like Sheets or Spreadsheet Software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
