Responsibilities

Review and thoroughly understand Google's network architecture standards
Communicate with internal business owners to collect drivers and deadlines for delivering colocation space and associated infrastructure
Design spaces that meet today's needs along with maintain flexibility for the future
Evaluate data center facilities to ensure they meet internal reliability requirements
Create high-level project plans that identify resource needs and critical paths

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
1 year of experience in program management
Experience working on infrastructure engineering teams or experience in service performance or quality
Experience with infrastructure projects (e.g., across software, hardware, data center, or networking)

Preferred

Experience working on evaluating data center infrastructure and designing cages and associated infrastructure
Practical experience managing large-scale projects in a matrixed environment
