Google is a leading technology company that builds products to create opportunities for everyone. As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex projects, manage stakeholder communications, and contribute to infrastructure development efforts within Google Research and Development.
Coordinate between stakeholders, set expectations for deliverables from many teams, keep track of parallel effort success, identify key roadblocks, and work with team members involved to keep things moving.
Navigate among potentially conflicting requirements and objectives across a wide range of cross-functional organizations and provide the leadership that results in globally optimal outcomes for Google and its users.
Identify areas for improvement within the existing customer base and define, evaluate, and improve processes for future customers.
Assist with building, network, and rack deployment strategy.
Support NPI efforts and infrastructure projects.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program management.
Experience with data center infrastructure.
Preferred
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience with data center architecture and New Product Introduction.
Experience with vendor management and customer relationship management.
Experience with project management or equivalent practical experience within a colocation space or point-of-presence environment.
Ability to communicate with multiple levels including executive leadership, peers, managers, and junior staff.
