As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to manage project schedules and communicate with cross-functional partners.
Execute scope for cross-functional product development of new products and programs, address undefined challenges with limited guidance. Guide products through the product life-cycle process.
Work with upstream and downstream partner teams across data centers, supply chain, construction and execution teams, hardware and software operations to help execute product introductions.
Lead project meetings, take meeting minutes, provide status updates, manage project resources, budgets, schedules, agreement scopes of work, risk management, and overall communications plans. Monitor and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations for programs.
Support establishing programs within the team, adapting to rotating discipline areas for product and program development.
Ensure the validation and verification of products align to all key performance indicators and provide visibility to all partners and stakeholders on progress.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program or technical project management.
Preferred
Experience in Data Center facility and product design specifications, including electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering.
Experience evaluating and managing risk of product and programs, implementing mitigation plans.
